Annet Mahendru
Mahendru is a mother of Russian origin who is born in Afghanistan. She is fluent in German, Russian and English in addition to French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru, born in India, to an Indian father and a Russian father as well as an Indian mother, speaks fluently with both of the languages. A choreographed performance at age 11 that aired on German television, turned her into an Russian dancer and snow maiden. The girl graduated high school in New York before earning a bachelor of Arts (English) at St. John's University. In college, she attended acting classes in the HB Studio but then quit to pursue improvisation classes with The Groundlings School taking on several comedy-related projects afterward. She was born within Kabul Afghanistan by a Hindu/Indian father Ghanshan Mahendru and an Russian-speaking mother Olga. At the age of 13 when her parents split up, she moved from Kabul, Afghanistan to East Meadow New York. Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys star in FX's The Americans. The Americans' Nina Sergeevna Krilova was the most well-known character. She had a recurring part in Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
